Day 1 Airport - Kitulgala
On arrival you will be met and assisted by a Representative of Pyala Travel. Continue with a transfer to Kitulgala.
Day 2 Kitulgala - Nuwara Eliya
At Kitulgala, enjoy white water rafting. The six kilometer stretch long the Kelani River graded 2/3 is exciting to negotiate with the six rapids, namely virgin's breast, butter crunch, killer fall, white quarter, head chopper and rafters quarter. In calm waters you could let your self-float while enjoying the scenic beauty. The safety aspect is always looked into before and while rafting. There are trained lifeguards on each raft and safety life Jackets and helmets are provided to all.
On completion of the rafting return to hotel, refresh and relax a while. In the afternoon continue with a transfer to Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3 Nuwara Eliya
Full day at leisure
OPTIONAL:- Early morning 05:30hrs proceed to HORTON PLAINS NATIONAL PARK with picnic breakfast. This is the only National Park in Sri Lanka where visitors are allowed to walk. Horton Plains is a gently rolling highland plateau 2200 m above sea level, at the southern end of the central mountain massif of the island. Sri Lanka?s second and third highest peaks, Kirigalpotta (2,395m) and Thotupola Kanda (2,357m) respectively, are cradled here and three major rivers, namely Mahawali, Kelani and Walawe too originate from Horton Plains.

Out of the variety of geological features of Horton Plains such as hillocks, streams, waterfalls, which compose into a picturesque surrounding, the most dramatic is `Worlds End’ where the plateau comes to an abrupt end and drops nearly 1000 m vertically. The best way to explore the park is on foot, preferably from early morning as the mist often falls by lunchtime. The highlights for the visitors who walk the trek to Worlds End, of which the total length is around 7 Km are Bakers Falls and Slab-rock Falls.
Day 4 Nuwara Eliya - Ella
In the morning proceed to Nanu Oya Railway Station (20 minutes drive and is the closest Railway station) to board the train for Ella, which leaves at 12:35Hrs               

This is a beautiful scenic drive through tea plantations, many waterfalls - an experience never to forget. The breathtaking and spectacular views are considered to be amongst the most beautiful in Sri Lanka. With its diverse variations in landscape, climate, geographical elevations and fairy-tale settings of cool mountains mysteriously veiled in layers of mist, offers a magical and “out of this world” experience that tugs an emotional chord deep within. The magnificent railway bridges and tunnels boast of impressive engineering works of art. During this travel you will be passing “The Summit level” which marks highest point of the Railway track in Sri Lanka a height of 1,898.1 meters | 6,226 ft above sea level.                                           

Mostly you have to travel standing with local people. The train will reach Ella railway station around 15:15hrs PM. The driver pick you up from Ella Railway station and drive you to the hotel.
Day 5 Ella - Kumana
In the morning you could walk up to the 9 arches railway bride, which is about a 4 Km walk in total.  This name is used since the bridge contains of 09 arches. It is also known as “Ahas Nawaya Palama” (9 Skies Bridge) This Bridge is 300 feet (91.44m) long and 25ft (7.62m) wide and  connects with two high lands and has been made of large cubic stones. The height is 80 ft (24.38m). The bridge has constructed with using an amazing engineering technology. First get on the rail track and proceed straight towards the Ella Railway Station. Continue for about 2 kilometers where you will reach a tunnel about 100 meters in length. As you exit the tunnel you will see the Nine Arches Bridge.         

If time permits climb the Little Adam’s Peak or direct transfer to Kumana   Leave your hotel and proceed to the Ella Town (three way junction) then take the Namunukula Road and walk about a kilometer along the main road until you reach the Horticulture house on the right side of the road. There is a gravel road next to the house. Continue on this road until you reach Little Adam?s Peak.The  whole journey will take about 1 ½ hours.
Day 6 Kumana
From Panama you have to travel to Okanda and then reach the Kumana Bird Sanctuary.    Kumana is one of the most important bird nesting and breeding grounds in Sri Lanka.  255 species of birds have been recorded. During April and July tens of thousands of birds migrate to Kumana annually. The sanctuary’s wetland areas are surrounded by a dry zone tropical thorny forest.  The inland forest’s flora is dominated by Palu, Ehela, Burutha and more.Kumana Bird Sanctuary was declared as a National Park in 1938.

Day 7 Kumana - Gal Oya

Day 8 Gal Oya
Early morning around 05.30hrs proceed to Senanayaka Samudraya in Inginiyagala (which is located inside the Gal Oya National Park) with picnic breakfast for the boat safari which is approx. 03 hrs   The Senanayaka Samudraya is the largest reservoir in Sri Lanka initiated by the first Prime Minister Hon. D.S. Senanayaka and there after it was named as the Senanayaka Samudraya.  About 45% of the vegetation around the reservoir is evergreen forest, 33% savanna, 9% grass land, 2% Chena cultivation and the balance is water bodies.  Rain is received during the North /East monsoon with an average rainfall of 1,700 millimeters.  Crossing the Senanayaka Samudraya is an alternative method of accessing the National Park.  There are many islands within this Senanayaka Samudraya with approximately 250 – 300 elephants.  The boat ride is a beautiful experience where you can watch elephants swimming from one island to another.      

PM   On completion of the boat safari return to hotel, refresh and relax.
Day 9 Gal Oya - Passikudah
AM         Breakfast and leave for Passikudah                            
PM         Check in to Resort Passikudah and stay at leisure
Day 10 Passikudah
Passikudah is a coastal town located approximately 35 km northwest of the Batticaloa district. Travelling from Colombo it is about 288 km and can be reached along the coastal route from Trincomalee as well. This is an ideal tourist spot which is gaining its popularity once again after the ending of the war.  Passikudah has one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world.  This makes it possible to walk several kilometers into the sea without any deep water problems.                  
Optional – Indulge in water sports activities (snorkeling) in the blue waters of the Indian Ocean or visit the lively town of Batticaloa.
Day 11 Passikuday - Habarane
Breakfast and leave for Habarana
OPTIONAL: En route you could visit the Polonnaruwa ancient city which was built in the 11th and 12th centuries AD. This is a World Heritage Site and today it is one of the most beautiful centers of our cultural heritage. With its comparatively brief history and a dozen rulers, it is a far more completely preserved ruin city than uradhapura. Visit the ancient ruins and the Gal Vihara complex, where three gigantic Buddha statues are carved out of a single rock.

Day 12 Habarane - Negombo
In morning you have the possibilty to make a safari in one of the national reserves around Habarane. Just after sunrise or just before sunset, the animals come to drink at the watering holes. Depending on the drought and the season many animals can be seen. Besides magnificent herds of elephants, you might see crocodiles, herons, cranes, mariboe and hornbills, an experience!
In afternoon continue to Negombo, for last day of this tour in the coastal town of Negombo.
